Objective:

The primary objective of the SC/ST Committee is to empower and integrate students from SC/ST communities into the mainstream of college life. This includes addressing their unique academic, financial, and personal needs to facilitate a successful educational journey.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Counselling and Guidance:To counsel and guide SC/ST students, assisting them in managing academic challenges and addressing personal issues during their college lives.
• Creating a Safe Environment:Ensuring the provision of a safe and secure environment where all SC/ST students feel valued and protected.
• Emotional Support:Providing prompt counselling services for any emotional emergencies that may arise due to events on campus.
• Grievance Redressal:Putting in place a system to quickly handle and resolve any complaints made by SC/ST students
• Constitutional Protection:Ensuring that students from SC/ST communities receive the protection and advantages of reservation stipulated in the Indian Constitution.
• Carееr Development Opportunities:Arranging for unique chances and initiatives to help SC/ST students advance in their careers.
• Awareness Programs:Educating SC/ST students about the Different Scholarships Available from the Government 
• Follow-Up Measures:Taking additional steps to meet the goals and objectives set forth by the UGC and the Indian Government for the welfare and advancement of SC/ST students
